Nebraska football: Huskers make the cut for mega talented receiver
The Nebraska football team is one of Mycah Pittman’s top teams.
If there was ever any doubt that the Nebraska football team is grabbing the attention of some of the best athletes in the country, those doubts were likely erased on Sunday.
Just a few days after the Huskers made the cut with one of the best offensive lineman in the class, they made the cut with one of the best receivers. Mycah Pittman announced his Top 10 schools and Nebraska was among that list.
Pittman is a 4-star rated prospect according to 247Sports. He’s also the 52 ranked player in the entire class, as well as the ninth best receiver.
Pittman is also the seventh best player in the entire state of California. It takes a boatload of talent to garner those kinds of rankings.

Pittman has placed three Big Ten schools among his Top 10. The Cornhuskers will be squaring off against the best in the country and will have plenty of competition here at home as Michigan and Ohio State also made the list.
In addition to the three B1G schools is Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, UCLA, and Washington State. Perhaps the most interesting addition to the list is Wazzu.
That might actually bode quite well for the Huskers. It’s clear Pittman is someone who likes a high powered passing offense.
If the Nebraska football team can show they fit that bill the best among the real “power” teams they might have an in. So far, there isn’t an indication when Pittman might start taking official visits.
