The Nebraska football team has offered yet another dual-threat quarterback in the 2019 class.

The Nebraska football team is going hard after at least one quarterback commit in the 2019 class. Scott Frost and company just offered their ninth target of the class in Grant Tisdale.

This dual-threat quarterback prospect hails from Texas and according to 247Sports is the 8th ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class.  The Cornhuskers haven’t been shy about going after quarterback recruits this cycle, despite the fact that they got one in 2018 in Adrian Martinez.

Beyond Martinez, Frost has a redshirt freshman in Christian Gebbia and a redshirt sophomore in Patrick O’Brien. He also has UCF transfer Noah Vedral.

It appears the team would still like to get at least one more quarterback and they might even take two, considering they have offered nine different quarterbacks already.

Tisdale is certainly going to be  a hard get. Before the Cornhuskers offered he already had 15 different schools after him.

Among the schools that appear to be favored is Ohio State. The Buckeyes have certainly shown they can build a good offense around a dual-threat signal caller.

Texas A&M appears to be the other team Nebraska is really going to have to fight off in this recruiting cycle. The good news is that the Buckeyes lean means Tisdale is apparently willing to leave the Lonestar State.

The other piece of good news is that the players the coaches have gone hard after have commented on a connection with the new staff. It appears every single one of them knows how to build something with their targets.

Grant Tisdale has so far not said where he stands when it comes to the Nebraska football team. For now, there aren’t plans to visit Lincoln, though that could change rather quickly.
