Nebraska football offers talented Georgia wide receiver
The Nebraska football team continues to try and stock up on talented receivers by offering Georgia prospect Zion Puckett.
The Nebraska football team continues to try and get as much top talent as possible. With the 2018 recruiting class officially signed, sealed and delivered, it’s time to move onto the 2019 class.
The approach for that continues with offering as many of the most talented players in the class. Georgia wide receiver Zion Puckett is the latest target.
Puckett is one of those extremely talented receivers that the Cornhuskers are going to have to fight off plenty of the top teams in the country. 247Sports has Puckett rated as a four-star receiver who already has offers from Alabama, Florida and Georgia among others.
The Bulldogs are likely to be the team the Huskers are going to have the most problem with, being as they are the home state school. With Scott Frost’s offense, wide receiver is an interesting position and it’s clear the Huskers are going to need to a ton of them.

The real question is just how much of a chance Frost and company have with Puckett. They appear to be continuing in the path of Mike Riley in that they are going after the best of the best.
While they have had some wins in that regard, they haven’t quite hauled down the best of the best. Puckett is the 29th best player in the state of Georgia and the 42nd best player in the entire class according to 247.
With 22 offers and counting, there’s no telling where the Nebraska football team sits with Zion Puckett. At the very least the staff is going to be working hard to get the receiver into Lincoln for an official visit this spring or summer.
