The Nebraska football team is going after yet another super talented quarterback, this time for the 2019 class.
While many people feel as though the Nebraska football team has their quarterback of the future, it looks like Scott Frost and company wants to make sure they have plenty of talent at the position.https://huskercorner.com/2018/02/21/nebraska-football-offer-stephon-wright/
In order to make that a sure thing, the team has offered 2019 quarterback prospect John Plumlee. Plumlee, out of Hattieburg, Mississippi looks like he might be one of the most sought after quarterbacks in the country this cycle.
It’s not hard to understand why he might be wanted by several programs, considering he looks to have a plenty strong arm and can run as well. 247Sports has him ranked as the 22nd best player in the state of Mississippi and one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks on the board.

That publication also has his 40-time as 4.4 seconds. That’s blazing fast even by today’s speedy standards.

If the Huskers want to have a shot with Plumlee they are going to need to fight off some of the best teams in the country. Alabama, Aubun and Georgia have all offered.
Mississippi State is the team that appears to be the one to beat at the moment. The Cornhuskers have been trying to make inroads in SEC country since they arrived in Lincoln.
It’s still relatively early in the recruiting cycle. The fact that the Huskers have gotten their foot in the door before the spring could go a long way towards showing Plumlee what Lincoln has to offer.
The big question, when it comes to the Nebraska football team is just what them having Adrian Martinez on board already does to this recruiting. We should find out the answer to that question before too long.
