The Nebraska football team has made the Top 9 schools for Georgia wide receiver Deshon Stoudemire.

As we move through the winter and into the spring of 2018, the Nebraska football team is making some real progress in getting the attention of some of the best players in the 2019 class.

The Cornhuskers have certainly got the attention of Deshon Stoudemire. Stoudemire is a 3-star receiver according to Rivals and he’s out of a region that Scott Frost and company are recruiting quite hard.

The receiver is out of Stone Mountain, Georgia and has got the attention of some of the best schools in the country. Auburn, Louisville, Michigan State and Tennessee have all offered.

Along with Nebraska, those four schools make up part of the Top 9 schools he announced on Wednesday night. Ohio State, Iowa State, South Carolina and West Virginia round out that list.

Now that he has announced who he will be looking out for as he heads towards commitment day, it’s a safe bet the Huskers will be putting on the full court press. So far, the wide receiver has not said when he plans to cut his list down again, or if and when he’ll start taking official visits.

For now, the Cornhuskers will have to be happy that they continue to catch the eyes of some of the best players in the class. Earlier this week, one of the best linebackers in the country showed some real love to the Nebraska football team.

The Cornhuskers would love to have Owen Pappoe and Deshon Stoudemire as teammates when the 2019 season eventually kicks off.
