Nebraska football class of 2020 target Jordan Johnson is getting more attention all the time from Power 5 conferences.

While the Nebraska football team is trying to close out the 2018 class, they are also looking to the future quite a bit these days. When it comes to the 2020 class, it appears the Huskers better pay quite a bit of attention to Jordan Johnson.

The wide receiver out of St. Louis has been getting quite a bit of attention since the Huskers offered him back in November. Coming into Tuesday morning, Johnson carried an offer from Iowa State and Nebraska.

On Tuesday, it appears the wide receiver arrived. Not only did the young man double his FBS offers but he doubled his Power 5 school offers.

Illinois and Notre Dame officially joined the fray with scholarship offers. That means Johnson has offers from two Big Ten schools, a Big 12 program and the most well known Independent in college sports.

If the teams that have offered a kid that can’t get on campus for a few years are these big now, it seems as if Johnson is going to be a major player in that 2020 class.

For the Huskers, it shows they’ve seen something in the Desmet receiver. The school hasn’t doled out many 2020 offers at this point.

On the other hand, the Nebraska football program has been paying quite a bit of attention to Missouri and the 2020 class. It was just a few days ago James Frenchie, an athlete who also has around a half dozen FBS offers.

It’s clear the Huskers are looking to get as much talent as possible from the Show Me State. Jordan JJohnsonwas one of the first the Nebraska football team went after in that group.
