Nebraska football: Top target announces commitment date
The Nebraska football team, as well as the rest of his targets, is going to find out where Cam Jones will be committing when he announces on January 27.
The Nebraska football might be getting its next commit, next weekend. Cam Jones one of the Huskers biggest targets his offseason has announced when he will be committing.
Jones is one of those players that was largely ignored by the old staff, but Scott Frost and company have been going hard after the four-star safety. The good news is that the Huskers appear to be in pretty good standing.
The bad news is it also appears they’re going to have a fight on their hands in the form of Ole Miss. Jones has been chased hard by all the schools on his list lately but those two teams appear to be the front-runners.

The Cornhuskers got a bit of a boost when Jones didn’t sign with anyone during the early signing period. There was a time when that appeared to be the deadline for Jones to make his choice.
Just before signing day he announced he wasn’t going to be inking with anyone. He added he never really planned to.
That still felt like a win for the Huskers, who got into his courtship late. It appears it hasn’t hurt getting into the process late at all.

All Nebraska football fan eyes will be turning towards the official Twitter account of Cam Jones. The player will be announcing on January 27 and he will have someone live-tweeting the event in order to let people who can’t watch the proceedings as it happens.
