Nebraska football pays a visit to big-time running back.

Nebraska football coach Ryan Held paid a visit to Jashaun Corbin on Monday. Corbin, a four-star running back from Florida would be a huge get for the Huskers as they try and rebuild their talent.

The Huskers already have one of the best JUCO running backs in the country in Greg Bell. It appears the Cornhuskers are now trying to get one of the best high school backs.

While Corbin was pleased to see Held, one has to wonder whether they can beat out a team like Texas. The running back has his offer from the Longhorns as his pinned tweet.

At the same time, the only official visit Corbin has lined up is with the Huskers. He’ll be here in just a few days.

The big question with this player is just what it’s going to take to draw him in. Running back is one position that the Cornhuskers have some depth.

They’ve added yet another back already in this class in Greg Bell. Corbin would be a big add, but not one the Huskers couldn’t do without.

What he would do, is show the rest of the country that the Cornhuskers are for real when it comes to recruiting the best of the best. For now, the Nebraska football team and its coaches will just have to take the fact that they are “in it” with players like this.
