Nebraska football offers Hall of Famer’s son a scholarship
The Nebraska football team is looking to bring in some serious talent in the coming years. That talent includes Shilo Sanders, Deion Sanders’ son.
The Nebraska football team got its foot in the door of yet another uber-talented athlete for the 2019 class. Shilo Sanders, the son of Hall of Fame defensive back Deion Sanders announced on Saturday he had received an official offer.
The defensive back prospect is one that is getting more attention by the day. He’s getting more attention for reasons other than the fact that he’s Deion Sanders’ son.
The three-star corner was offered by Texas A&M early on and Power Five conference teams have been joining the fray since. Oregon, Oregon State and Syracuse are all in after the player as well.

Sanders has gotten quite a bit of attention over the years because of the fight his parents put up over his custody. Lawsuits and apparently false accusations have followed the saga of Pilar and Deion Sanders.

Shilo also got into a bit of legal trouble of his own at his former high school. It appears all of that is now behind the budding prospect.
Not only is Sanders considered someone who is going to be among the best players in the 2019 football recruiting class, but he’s someone who wants to play baseball as well.
Two-sport athletes aren’t nearly as prevalent in the college game as they once were, but it’s a safe but the Huskers would allow him to give it a go.
As Shilo Sanders is still a ways away from having to commit, it might be a while before we find out just how interested he is in the Nebraska football team.
