Nebraska football wide receiver signee Jaron Woodyard hasn’t made it to campus yet. He’s also not letting anyone know why he hasn’t hit town.
Despite the short period of time they had to get the job done, the new Nebraska football staff had a rather electric rush to the finish line of the early signing period. One of the reasons it was so exciting was because the staff was able to sign wide receiver Jaron Woodyard.
Unfortunately, Woodyard has yet to set foot on campus. The Huskers’ other early signees who were eligible to come to Lincoln have all arrived, including Woodyard’s teammate at Arizona Western, Greg Bell.
Classes began on January 8 at Nebraska and the last day to register for the spring semester is this coming Tuesday. The prospects for Woodyard to be an early enrollee are not looking good as we head to the finish line.

HuskersOnline was the first to report that Woodyard had not yet enrolled at Nebraska. Others, including the Omaha World-Herald have reached out to the wide receiver with no immediate response.
Woodyard was a heck of a get for Scott Frost and company. He was ranked as the number four receiver in the 2018 JUCO class.
The question now is whether Woodyard not showing up is a situation where enrollment hit a snafu or he’s having second thoughts.
Others have pointed out he could still show up in Lincoln in time to enroll in the fall semester and still be a part of the team.
For now, the Nebraska football team appears to be sitting and waiting. Jaron Woodyard will either show up at the last minute or the team will go back to the drawing board.
The good news is the coaching staff has come up with several backup plans in the last few weeks.
