The Nebraska football team has given an official offer to an offensive lineman who considers himself a new kind of Nigerian Nightmare in Joshua Ezeudu.
The Nebraska football team has officially offered offensive lineman Joshua Ezeudu. In doing so, the team hopes the player, who calls himself a Nigerian Nightmare will cause some sleepless nights for Husker opponents in the coming years.
Ezeudu certainly has the frame to cause some problems. According to Rivals, he weighs in at 6-5 and 300 pounds. The Lawrenceville, Georgia based lineman is a three-star prospect that is the 61st best player in the entire peach state.
While the Huskers are the latest to offer, they are far from the only school going after the player. Syracuse, Missouri, Minnesota, and Purdue are just some of the Power 5 schools going after him.

Not only is he a superior athlete, but he’s clearly a smart player as well. Peruse his offer list and you’re going to see schools like Yale, Cornell and Dartmouth.
In fact, there are few Ivy League teams that haven’t offered him a chance to play for them. While the Huskers are looking for road graters in 2018 and beyond, never let it be said it’s not a bonus to have a next level intellect protecting your quarterback.
Judging from some comments Ezeudu has made, it appears North Carolina is going to be one of the schools to beat, as he’s said he’s scheduled a visit there. Having just announced an offer, Josh Ezeudu has not said when or if he’ll be visiting the Nebraska football team.

It’s a safe bet the Huskers are hoping they can get him into Lincoln when it’s not 9 degrees outside.
