The Nebraska football team got the deep threat it needed in Jaron Woodyard

Bell wasn’t the only weapon the Nebraska football team got from Arizona Western. Greg Bell was the running back the team wanted.

Jaron Woodyard was the speedy receiver the Huskers wanted as well. The 2018 version of the Cornhuskers is going to have a couple of very good receivers on the roster.

The problem is that it won’t really have that deep speed burner that can stretch a defense. At least, that would have been the problem had Woodyard not signed with the Cornhuskers.

Scott Frost and company went out and filled a need with a player that is going to be able to be on the field right away.

Woodyard’s talents might have been a bit wasted on the run-focused Arizona Western team.

He could be putting up eye-popping numbers in Lincoln, assuming the team has a quarterback who can consistently get him the ball.

The Nebraska football team is going to be better next season thanks to these three players. T

hat’s true even if they aren’t able to winning the starting job at their respective positions.

The Huskers are getting depth in a way that Bill Snyder swore by. The approach could be yet another sign that Scott Frost was the right hire.

He’s willing to guide the Nebraska football team in whatever way he feels is neccesary in order to win.
