The Nebraska football team will find out whether it got its running back on Wednesday morning.
Wednesday already seemed like it was going to be a big day for the Nebraska football team. There are a number of players that have said they are going to announce the school they are signing with on Wednesday.
Add JUCO running back Greg Bell to the list of players the Huskers will be waiting on. Bell visited Lincoln last weekend, along with one of his teammates Jaron Woodyard.
Woodyard announced he committed to the Huskers after that weekend but Bell has stayed mum on who he’s favoring. This past weekend, Bell and Woodyard both paid a visit to Tennessee.

While Woodyard has said he’s simply visiting the Vols in order to get a look at the school, Bell is still very much a free agent. That is going to come to an end one way or another on Wednesday.
While there are plenty of people who think the race comes down to the Huskers and the Volunteers, the running back has been keeping his cards very close to the vest. Bell announced through his official Twitter account that he’s going to be announcing from San Diego.
It should be pointed out that he had committed to the Aztecs out of high school. Is it possible he decides he’s going back there?
Recruiting is always a crazy time. It’s certainly possible.
It’s more likely Bell will announce he’s either headed to the SEC or the Big Ten. It’s safe to say there’s an upside for the player at either program.
With Nebraska football looking to rebuild its offense from the ground up, the Huskers are wanting Greg Bell pretty bad. Now we’ll wait and see whether he wants to join his teammate in Lincoln.
