The Nebraska football team is going to be hosting a talented quarterback recruit this weekend.

The Nebraska football team is going to be hosting at least one talented quarterback recruit this coming weekend. If a certain hint given by Terry Wilson on Twitter can be taken the right way, it appears there may be two quarterbacks visiting Lincoln.

Scott Frost and the rest of his staff have wasted no time when it comes to recruiting. It appears the effort coaches like Mario Verduzco have put in is paying off … in spades.

On Monday night, Adrian Martinez, a four-star quarterback recruit who is currently committed to Tennessee tweeted out he was visiting the Husker campus this weekend. The official visit plans come just a few days after the Cornhuskers extended an official scholarship offer.

It appears Martinez has had enough of the soap opera that has engulfed the volunteers. Should the Huskers manage to reel Martinez in, it could help jump-start what had been a recruiting class stuck in neutral.

Also on Monday night, Terry Wilson, a dual threat quarterback that had been recruited hard by Nebraska a few years back sent out a rather cryptic tweet. Wilson, who played this past season at Garden City, Community College announced he was “headed somewhere special” this weekend.

Ever since rumors of Frost coming to Nebraska began to circulate, Wilson has made it clear he would be quite interested in heading to Lincoln. Now that the Huskers have their new head coach, Wilson seems like a shoo-in to be a Cornhusker if the new coaching staff can find room on the roster.

The big question now is whether or not the Nebraska football team could somehow accept both. That will be up to Scott Frost in the end, but it appears the staff is trying as hard as it can to get all the talent it can muster to come visit.
