A visit to Clemson didn’t lead to a decommit and there’s no reason to think this visit will either.

While things are going extremely poorly for the Nebraska football team this season, one bright spot has always been the recruiting. When talking about a class that could still finish inside the Top 25, Joshua Moore is often mentioned.

The talented wide receiver has been a commit to Nebraska for months now. What worries some Husker fans is that while he is still committed, he has started taking visits to other schools.

Earlier this season, Moore took an official visit to see the Clemson Tigers. This coming weekend, while the Nebraska football team tries to lick its wounds, the wide receiver is apparently going to be visiting Alabama.

Moore announced the official visit through his Twitter page and unsurprisingly, there were plenty of fans who got a bit concerned.

With the way the Huskers season has gone, and the very real prospect of a losing season, Nebraska fans don’t want to see their 2018 recruiting class fall apart as well.

The good news, of course is that Moore has indeed taken at least one other official visit and he remains a Husker. The big question that any Cornhusker fans have to ask themselves is whether or not that continues should Mike Riley be let go.

Moore has often talked about the relationship he has with wide receivers’ coach Keith Williams as one of the biggest draws to Nebraska. There’s no guarantee that a Riley firing would mean a house cleaning, considering Williams is considered amongst the best coaches in the country at that position.

All of this just means that a recruiting season that is always filled with drama and stress is going to have a little extra for any Nebraska football fans hoping the moves in a positive direction for recruiting continues.
