– What advantages do you feel Tennessee has over Nebraska?

Nebraska seems to have a very balanced defense, but in all three losses they gave up over 200 yards rushing. If that’s a weakness, Tennessee is very dangerous for them. After all, the Vols have a three-headed rushing monster with Joshua Dobbs at quarterback and Alvin Kamara and John Kelly at running back. Also, the Vols run elements of the spread, which Ohio State showed can be difficult for Nebraska to contain.

– What advantages do you feel Nebraska has over Tennessee?

Tennessee doesn’t have the horses to do anything to stop Nebraska’s offense. Although the Huskers have been inconsistent on that side of the ball all year, they have two things on their side: a great offensive line and a great offensive mind in Mike Riley.

Tennessee is so decimated in its front seven that it will have trouble all night stopping the run against that elite line. It’ll also give them plenty of time to make plays in the passing game. Although Barnett and Corey Vereen are good pass rushers, a lack of help at defensive tackle and from linebackers in coverage should allow the Huskers to have a field day on offense.

– What is the best case scenario in this game for Tennessee? Worst?

The best case scenario is that Joshua Dobbs comes out motivated to have a strong finish in his final game as a Volunteer and just goes off, throwing for three touchdowns, running for another two, and racking up 500 total yards en route to a shootout victory for Tennessee.

The worst case scenario is that while Dobbs plays well, the rest of the offense comes out flat and apathetic while the defense gets torched all day, and the Vols lose in a blowout.
