Purdue vs Maryland (-10)

Those who love college football might want to pay attention to this game simply because there aren’t going to be too many times when both schools have winning records when they face each other.

Both Maryland and Purdue were two of the worst teams in the conference last year but they have both looked at least a little better so far to start the year. Maryland especially is winning games with a running game and a decent defense.

Purdue has been airing it out and that has led to the Boilermakers already winning as many games this year as they did a season ago. Much like Ohio State and Rutgers, this is a Big Ten matchup that has almost no history.

Scheduling quirks have even meant the two teams haven’t faced off against one another, despite the fact that they’re in the same division. The two squads have faced off exactly one time. That game finished in a 24-7 win for the Terapins.

Granted, when the two teams met back in 2006, Maryland was actually a squad that went to a bowl game every now and then. Today, I think the outcome is going to be the same, though a bit more offense will be on display.

Maryland wins 28-17
