1.Ohio State (3-0, 0-0)

Ohio State came into the season as the odds on favorite to play in the National Title game. The Buckeyes have looked the part in the first third of the season as they have beat down every opponent they’ve played.

That includes an absolute butt whooping of the Oklahoma Sooners, who came into the season as a dark horse NC contender. Yes, the Sooners already suffered a loss this season, but this was still supposed to be the first test of the year for Ohio State.

The Buckeyes passed it with flying colors, winning 45-24. The game was never in doubt, as OSU held leads of 14-0, 21-7. 28-10 and 42-17. As if that blowout wasn’t bad enough, they team absolutely destroyed the two lower tier opponents it’s played this year in Tulsa (48-3) and Bowling Green (77-10)

Ohio State gets a bit of a break in the coming month, playing Rutgers and Indiana before taking on Wisconsin. Ohio State does have a tougher end to the season, where they’ll play Nebraska, Michigan State and Michigan in three of the season’s last four weeks, but right now the Buckeyes definitely look like the team to beat.
