The Nebraska football team will be hosting a pair of teammates that the Huskers likely hope want to stay teammates and want to play in Lincoln.

Thomas Graham and Jaylon Redd are going to be in town for this weekend’s Fresno State game after confirming they would be taking the joint official visit on Monday according to 247Sports. Both Graham and Redd are defensive backs, and would be rather huge gets for Mike Riley and company.

The two recruits are both 4-stars, but it also appears the Huskers have a bit of an uphill climb to get either one of them, though it’s far from impossible. Graham is apparently high enough on Nebraska that he’s having his parents come along on the visit with him.

This is the first year that that NCAA is allowing schools to pay for players’ parents to attend official visits. In the past, if the parents wanted to come, they had to do it on their own dime. “They want to see if I can handle being there on my own,” Graham told HuskersIllustrated. “Basically, they’re going to see if they trust the coaches, how they feel about Lincoln. They just want to make sure it’s a place where there son can go to college.”

This weekend will be the first visit for both players and so far, it doesn’t appear Redd has scheduled any other visits. Graham has one other official on the agenda so far, as he’ll be visiting Notre Dame on September 17.

The Nebraska football coaches are going to have their hands full, considering they will be hosting 10 recruits this weekend. In addition to Graham and Redd, the Nebraska football team is hosting current commits, Tristan Gebbia, Avery Roberts and Keyshawn Johnson Jr. They will be leaned on heavily to pitch in and held nab commitments from 5-star defensive back Darnay Holmes, 5-star center Foster Sarell, 3-star receiver Jamire Calvin, and 3-star defensive tackle Damion Daniels.
