2. Eric Piatkowski

Lovingly referred to as the Polish rifle for most of his playing days, this former Nebraska basketball star had a long history in the NBA as a guy who his teams could lean on when they needed a three-point bucket.

Each year that Pike played or the Huskers, his numbers got better and better culminating with a senior season in which he averaged 21.5 points per game. Those numbers are still the best points per game average scored in school history.

His success for the Big Red allowed him to go to the big leagues and he was drafted in the first round by the Indiana Pacers. He never played for the Pacers but did play several seasons for the Los Angeles Clippers.

From 1994 to 2003, Pike was a Clipper who mostly served as a sixth man, though he did average 8.6 points per game for LA and shot just over 40 percent from three point land. Towards the end of his career, Piatkowski was more of a journeyman who played for Houston, Chicago and Phoenix in his final five years in the league.

Pike finished his NBA career with a 3 point percentage of .399 meaning he hit just under 40 percent of all the three pointers he shot.
