4. Cethan Carter (TE)

Cethan Carter missed a few games last year due to violating team rules, and he missed some other time because of injuries. The offense when he was at full strength and when he wasn’t were night and day.

Towards the end of the year, Mike Riley and company seemed to figure out what kind of a weapon they had in this tight end and even used him as a running threat now and then. With Andy Janovich gone and the Cornhuskers not yet finding a full-fledged replacement, Carter is poised to have a huge season through the air and even on the ground.

An injury to Cethan would be a blow to the offense on some fronts.
