2. His Senior Experience

There’s a reason why a player’s youth, especially in college is often cited. Tommy Armstrong was lucky enough to get quite a few snaps when he was a redshirt freshman and he’s been the man since he was a sophomore.

While in some respects, it appeared Armstrong made little gains between his sophomore and junior seasons, he’s a third year starter this season and that could make all the difference, considering he’s also in his second year in Mike Riley’s system.

This system is no longer brand new for Armstrong and we think his understanding of the game, and this offense could mean big things.
