5. Dedrick Young – LB: The secondary is not the only place the Nebraska Cornhuskers have had trouble against the pass. Linebacker Dedrick Young has been beaten on multiple occasions in the passing game. Better believe Illinois has seen the tapes.

In addition, the Fighting Illini have players to take advantage of Young’s inexperience. Running back Josh Ferguson has 11 receptions out of the backfield for Illinois’ offense. With 25 career touchdowns, he has the ability to exploded at anytime. Therefore, Young must play his best game of the season. If he’s able to slow Ferguson in the passing game, it could become the biggest key to a Nebraska victory.

Dedrick Young has 15 tackles, while playing the run fairly well. He also has two passes defended this season. As long as he stays aggressive, Young should be put in good spots. However, if he starts playing hesitant football, Young could find himself out of position frequently.
