Due to Jack Gangwish’s injury, Akinmoladun has been needed at defensive end. So far, he leads the Huskers’ defense with two sacks, and countless QB pressures. He also leads the Huskers with four tackles for loss. On Saturday, Akinmoladun must cause havoc in the Southern Mississippi backfield. The Golden Eagles have a great offense, and it’s up to the defensive line to contain them.

Once Nebraska gets some pressure on quarterback Nick Mullens, they have to finish the play with a sack. This could be the day Southern Miss learns the meaning of Freedom in Nebraska. Therefore, expect at least two sacks on Saturday. Of course, it will be a team effort, but it’s time for Akinmoladun to shine.
