Five Nebraska players to watch vs Southern Miss

5. Jordan Westerkamp- WR: Jordan Westerkamp is fifth in the Big Ten with 15 receptions. He leads the Huskers with 233 yards receiving as well. Westerkamp is also tied with Alonzo Moore for three touchdown receptions. So far, his consistency has been great for the Huskers’ offense, but they can get even more out of Westerkamp.

In addition to doing his work as a receiver, Westerkamp has been a good replacement for De’Mornay Pierson-El as a punt returner. Currently, he’s averaging 16.5 yards per return. Against Miami, Westerkamp gave Nebraska good field position during special teams. Maybe he can take a punt to the house on Homecoming Saturday.
