We round out the list with Daishon Neal who has been a frequent topic in the news lately due to a comment about being 50/50 when it comes to Nebraska. He is an Omaha Central product (having moved here 2 years ago from Texas) and rumors are he’s favoring Oregon. He is set to visit Eugene Jan. 30, as well as Lincoln on the 23rd. He also plays defensive end and is very aggressive. He is the tallest of this group coming in at 6′ 7″ and 250 lbs. In his Scout.com interview he claims to be “a much better student of the game.” He claims to “read offensive scheme and defensive schemes well.”

National signing day is set for Feb. 4 and is actually not that far away. We will know all the pieces at the end of that day. In the meantime the search continues for the WR coach so stay tuned to Husker Corner and GO BIG RED!!!
