Husker tweets: Around the Corn

It’s the first Husker Saturday without a College Gameday program and although the bowl season got to be a little much, I’m in withdrawal. So I scoured the internet for something to distract me. There were a lot of things out there. After a few imposter accounts, Randy Gregory final has a twitter account. He started it up yesterday and by my most recent count he’s at 7,813 followers. Give him a follow @RandyGregory_4.

Tumble N Rumble had the wrestlers and gymnasts at Devaney last night and they came away winners! Coach Kendig picked up his 600th win.

Husker gymnast Ashley Lambert placed 1st in the All Around and Husker Hollie Blanske picked up the 2nd place All around. Great job ladies. Solid effort by the whole team.

Husker Wrestlers also finished strong two winning 8 out of 10 matches. Robert Kokesh at 174 remains undefeated.

There is some good news on the #Averystrong front too. In case you don’t know, Avery is the son of assistant basketball coach Chris Harriman. He was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia. GREAT news so far!

Avery Moss, former Husker DE, was not allowed to return to the Husker football team in a decision handed down by the university yesterday. There is an online petition put together and supported by the team. Tons of traffic for it out there.

More from Husker Corner

Huskers signed Devine Ozigbo yesterday as a running back for the football team. He wore #22 in high school. Big shoes to fill there! (Kendall Bussey went to TN). It looks like WI, Miami, and Miss. St were also after the Iowa St. commit. If we could only find out about who is going to be the next WR coach, all would be well in Huskerland. In the next week we should know. Stay tuned,

"In the meantime, GO BIG RED!!!"
