Nebraska Cornhuskers Injury Update and More
By Kelli Anne
It’s going to be sunny and 54 degrees on Saturday for the Nebraska Cornhuskers’ off week. This probably means you have a wedding to attend and the brides will be happy as no chance for rain!
And let’s be honest, the only injury report any Nebraska Cornhusker fan wants to know is how is Ameer? By all reports he is going to play against Wisconsin next week after suffering a mild MCL sprain. It would be nice if Mauro Bondi were healthy again after his broken collarbone but he’s officially still listed as questionable as is Marcus Newby.
The off week came at a really good time for Abdullah to rest up.
A B1G Ten game to force one team off the top of the East Division happens in East Lansing at 7:00 pm. It’s going to be dark and chilly.
20 percent chance of thunderstorms start the day off and hamper tailgating. Another chance for precipitation around 6pm but dropping down into the low 30’s will make this one a great night for hitting and for slipping.
You should cheer for Sparty in this one.
Baylor plays in Norman, Oklahoma where the Soooners are five-point favorite in an 11:00 a.m. contest. Projected weather at game time will be 55 degrees and sunny. 17 mph wind with gusts up to 32 will more than likely have an affect on the air attack for Baylor.

And finally, Alabama travels to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Death Valley for a 7:00 pm contest.
It’s a BIG game in the SEC (but if you work for ESPN they are ALL important down there) and the LSU faithful will enjoy temperatures in the upper 60’s for their pregame festivities.
Temperatures will only drop about 10-14 degrees but they will all have enough anti-freeze in them by them to cheer on the TIGERS!
