5. Ohio State (2-1)

Greg Bartram-USA TODAY Sports

Last Week: BYE

Ohio State took some time off this past week after destroying Kent State 66-0 on Sept. 13.

The Buckeyes loss to Virginia Tech looks even worse as the Hokies lost their second-straight game after upsetting them in Columbus.

Ohio State must be careful to not overlook visiting the 2-0 Cincinnati Bearcats this Saturday. Cincy is led by the once-ballyhooed quarterback Gunner Kiel.

Kiel is off to a good start (689 passing yards, 10 touchdowns) and looks more than capable of picking apart the Buckeyes’ secondary, like the Hokies did.

It’s tough to pick against an Urban Meyer team when he’s had a week to prepare, though

This Week: Cincinnati (Sept 27th- 5 p.m. on BTN)

My Prediction: Ohio State 31-20
