8. Maryland (3-1)

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Last Week: Beat Syracuse 34-20

William Likely is a name to learn if you are game planning for the Terrapins this season.

Likely, coming off an impressive week versus West Virgina, made an outstanding interception that swung momentum and buried Syracuse’s chances against Maryland.

With Syracuse looking to make it a one possession game, Likely picked off a pass and returned it 88 yards for a touchdown, increasing Maryland’s lead to 31-13 late in the first half.

Despite a last-second loss to West Virginia, Maryland has to feel pretty good heading into the conference season at 3-1. The Terrapins have shown the potential for one of their most prolific offenses in program history so far.

Maryland gets it’s first shot at a Big Ten victory against a suddenly spry Indiana team this Saturday.

This Week: at Indiana (Sept 27th- 12:30 p.m. on BTN)

My Prediction: Indiana 49-45
