Offensive Line B
Overall, the unit played extremely well. They regularly pushed Miami’s front four off the line of scrimmage allowing Abdullah to run free.
What prevents the grade from being higher is the silly penalties including a false start and two holding calls against left tackle Alex Lewis.
The line pushed around Miami’s defensive linemen to the tune of 343 rushing yards and two touchdowns on an incredible 54 carries. For comparison’s sake, the previous three games Miami played teams averaged three, 0.8, and two yards per carry, respectively.
Abdullah deserves a massive amount of praise, but the effort the offensive line put out garners just as much.
Another great note was that the line gave up zero sacks. Through four games, Nebraska has only surrendered one.
