Husker Football: Miami Hurricanes Report Card
Wide Receivers/Tight Ends B+
Not a lot of volume for coach Rich Fisher’s receiving corps, but what it did have, it made count.
Senior wide out Kenny Bell collected four passes for 70 yards including a 40-yard bomb from Armstrong, Jr. for the Huskers’ first score of the day.
Bell also caught a big first down later in the game after originally being shoved out of bounds by the defender. He showed great effort to reestablish himself in bounds and to finish the play.
Alonzo Moore showed up big this week as well, grabbing all three passes thrown his way for 26 yards.

He made one catch for a big first down on a third-and-medium, then caught a longer pass on second-an- long to put the team in position to get another first down.
The tight ends were used more like fullbacks in this game, as none of them saw any catches, but they several were lined up as H-Backs.
The blocking was solid between Cethan Carter, Sam Cotton and Trey Foster.
