I-Backs A+
I’m not breaking any news here, but Ameer Abdullah is really, really good.
The Heisman contender racked up 229 yards on 35 carries, scoring two touchdowns. Abdullah put the entire team on his back and carried them to victory this time around.
He also added a catch for a touchdown, flashing hands, speed and toughness to get to the end zone running through a Miami linebacker near the goal line.
Tip the cap to Tim Beck yet again for feeding his superstar the rock.
No. 8 consistently ran with low pad level and finished his runs on top of the tackling defender. I can’t rave enough about how impressive Abdullah is.
As a football fan, it’s an honor to watch him go to work.
