Tommy Armstrong, Jr. looked good Saturday night putting up 260 yards passing and three touchdowns. Even better, the sophomore quarterback didn’t throw any interceptions.

No. 4 completed 14 of his 24 attempts for 282 yards.

That’s not to say there weren’t any issues. It again seemed like the quarterback locked onto his first read and missed guys that were open. As many people on Twitter noted, he missed uncovered running backs in the flats more than once.

There was also a string of eight straight incompletions in the second quarter.

Additionally, Ryker Fyfe completed two of his three attempts including a touchdown pass to Sam Cotton late in the game.
