The Husker football team knocked loose some of the bad vibes from the McNeese (or ‘Mack-Knees’ if you’re asking the CBS Sports Network crew) State game with a 55-19 thumping of the Fresno State Bulldogs.

Make no mistake, this Bulldogs team is not the one that trotted out Derek Carr and won the Mountain West Conference last season. No, this FSU team had been thumped by USC in week one and Utah the following week.

That said, the Huskers did what they needed to do. They dominated an outmatched opponent. Considering what happened against McNeese State, it was refreshing to see this again.

Nebraska outgained Fresno State 562 yards to 346, totaling 280 on the ground while passing for 282. It doesn’t get much more balanced than that.

Of note, the Big Red also snapped Fresno State’s 13-game home winning streak.

The red pen is out for each position group again following the third test of the season. Overall, the team passed with flying colors as they head its biggest non-conference game against Miami.

How would you grade the team? Let me know in the comments below.
