3. Can Ameer Abdullah and this offensive line re-establish the running game?

Outside of Abdullah, Nebraska’s running success was limited to its quarterback.
Tommy Armstrong, Jr. had his most productive game on the ground with 131 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.
No. 8, however, averaged just 3.2 yards per carry on 17 attempts (54 yards). Of course, he did come up HUGE in the fourth quarter with the game-winning touchdown.
Before that catch, he had just one touch in the fourth quarter. ONE.
Hey, the Huskers have a Heisman-caliber running back. Hand off to him, you say? Pssshh.
This week, Nebraska goes up against the fifth-worst rush defense in the country. The Bulldogs are giving up 267 yards on the ground per game.
If this offense wants to get back on track, it’ll have to start with the running game. In other words, run the ball, Tim. It’ll be alright.
