Husker Football: McNeese State Report Card

The Husker football linebacking corps was a step or two slow this past weekend.
McNeese State’s offense abused the second level with routes that placed their running backs in perfect position to move the ‘backers out of place.
If it weren’t for drops, the Cowboys would’ve had an even better chance at winning the game.
This group really misses the athleticism of Michael Rose-Ivey who was lost during fall camp.
I don’t want to overreact, but those starting linebackers (Banderas, Santos and Anderson) must find a way to play in space or it WILL be a long season (pun not intended).
