If only there was a worse grade. John Garrison’s unit was out-manned, out-muscled and out-hustled.
The only real running success came on Armstrong, Jr.’s keepers during zone read plays as the line could not generate any real push forward.
Abdullah averaged 3.2 yards per carry this week and the team gained over 200 yards rushing, but half of those came by the starting quarterback on scrambles and keeps.
Without a true push from the front five, it’ll be hard to trust the run game going forward, even with Abdullah’s amazing talent.
