Husker Football: 5 Major Questions – McNeese State Edition

Last season, McNeese State threw seven interceptions and fumbled the ball away ten times. Can the Huskers force gifts this week?
If they don’t, it’ll be the second time in two seasons the Big Red claimed back-to-back games without forcing any turnovers (there’s that consistency thing again).
In 2013, the Huskers forced four fumbles and intercepted 14 passes, good for better than one possession-flipper per game.
The Cowboys’ starting quarterback, Tyler Bolfing, only threw 22 passes last season with no interceptions to show for them. If the Blackshirts can get to the first-time starter early, that momentum should pay dividends.
