It’s truly amazing what the Tommy Armstrong, Jr.-led offense did, with its 784 yards being the most in the Big Ten’s modern era.

However, as anyone familiar with football will tell you, consistency is key.

A scary stat: Bo Pelini-coached Nebraska teams have never posted back-to-back games without a turnover. There were a few close calls against the Owls, as Armstrong nearly had a few passes intercepted and Kenny Bell muffed a punt, but was able to knock it out of bounds.

Another stat worth noting: When McNeese State played its only FBS opponent last year (South Florida), the Cowboys forced three turnovers and won the game convincingly, 53-21.

Can the Huskers turn in two clean games in a row for the first time under Pelini?
