Florida Atlantic vs. Nebraska: Five Players To Watch
Nebraska’s Nathan Gerry and Josh Faulkenberry
Yes, I realize that I’m naming two players, but how do I put this gently…
With Gabriel Miller sidelined indefinitely, long snapping has been…okay, it’s been bad.
There’s nothing that can tank a game (or even worse, a season) quicker than bad long snapping.

Let’s count the ways: Bad punts, no punts due to snapping over heads and/or into facemasks, bad field goal attempts, bad PAT attempts, blocks for touchdowns, etc.
You see how the Huskers’ season could very well hinge on how well these guys do.
Watch them closely. Sam Foltz is one heck of an athlete and can make a one-handed grab before he boots, but he can’t do that all season long.
If long snapping is poor, sooner or later, the dam’s going to break and confidence throughout the special teams units will suffer.
