Nebraska’s Defensive Line

The strength of this defense will be its front four, led by Top 10 NFL prospect Randy Gregory.

Florida Atlantic loses two starters from an offensive line that was surprisingly successful last season.

One thing the Husker defensive line has going for it (outside of the obvious star power) is the size of the FAU’s offensive linemen.

Last season, the Owls’ men up front averaged just 285 pounds. They managed to beef that number up to 299, but it’s still on the smaller side for hosses up front.

With the emergence of defensive tackle Vincent Valentine (320 pounds) and defensive end Greg McMullen (280 pounds), I expect the Florida Atlantic offense to have severe issues with its ground game.
