Husker Football: Unit Power Rankings After Fall Camp
Offensive Line
The left side of the offensive line was as good as advertised in fall camp.

Colorado transfer Alex Lewis appears to be bringing some “nasty” back to the offensive line at left tackle.
Lewis’s battles with stud defensive end Randy Gregory were a thing of beauty this fall, and those spats should only benefit the team come game time.
Standing next to Lewis at left guard will be proven senior captain Jake Cotton.
That side of the line will be a major strength the Huskers can rely when employing both the passing and running games this season.
Mark Pelini appears to have locked down the center position, but the right side might be rotating in bodies quite a bit until some permanent starters can be settled upon.
It’s ideal to have positions locked up entering the season, but it’s important to see how guys will play in game situations in order to solidify their roles, starting or otherwise.
A positive from the continuing position battle is that the Huskers know they have plenty of depth up front if injuries pop up on the offensive line as often as they did last season.
