Everyone expects Randy Gregory to leave following 2014. I’d be asking the question above. Is this really set in stone? Has Gregory said, “Yeah coach, I’m out after this year.”?

Don’t get me wrong, No. 44’s a talent and coming back with the potential for injury’s a gamble, but what if he doesn’t score as high as he’d like to during pro evaluation?

Maybe there’s some real doubt that he makes that first round pick or at least isn’t in the top 15.

There’s quite a difference in dollars when it comes to first and second round gets, after all.

While I’d expect Pelini to try to duck with a “We’ll see”, I think Gregory’s a guy he’d tout as much as possible. If there’s an real chance he might be back, where better to hype it than in Chicago?
