The Huskers’ overall schedule isn’t too bad. Due to Bo Pelini’s consistent 9-4 seasons, trying to find potential losses is like playing Whack-A-Mole.
The offense is loaded, but the key factor is going to be how the first new quarterback in a bajillion years does in place of Taylor Martinez.
Ameer Abdullah, Imani Cross and the rest of the running back stable is likely relied on as the new QB gets acclimated and Nebraska has a deep receiver corps that’ll work hard to bail him out.
On defense, Nebraska has a front seven more talented than any Pelini’s fielded in the Big Ten. Randy Gregory and Vincent Valentine should be household names across college football in 2014.
