After reviewing the Big Ten East division and projecting half of the league’s football championship game, it’s time to switch to the West and see what 2014 has in store for what appears to be a more fluid division.

When determining how this season may play out, I had to be careful.
While college football itself is full of upsets, the Big Ten West is home to a team that can wreck a team’s aspirations in a snap.
On top of that, who represents this half of the conference in Indianapolis may come down a chain reaction of perhaps one of the worst things in football aside from ties: technicalities.
