Big Ten Football: Predicting The East Division
Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
Thankfully, the Big Ten football divisions (well, all divisions where applicable) finally have old-fashioned names. The kind of names that were around when you walked uphill both way to school in the snow and loved it.
There’s a number of reasons I enjoy the Big Ten conference. The tradition, the history between teams, the rivalries, trophies and apparently commissioner Jim Delany hates math as much as I do.
It’s because of that reason that I will not be predicting the finishes of five teams in the Big Ten East. No, I will prognosticate the future of seven (count ’em, seven) teams.
I can safely say that by the time you finish the list, you’ll see that Delany’s seven sided East division is shaking up from what you’ve read in those slick, glossy magazines. To me, at least.
