Indiana isHornswoggle

This may come off as mean, but I don’t intend it to be. Indiana has its place in the Big Ten conference. It’s too easy to say they just get beat up on each week like Hornswoggle. Truth be told, Hornswoggle really doesn’t lose that often. It’s more about whom the Hoosiers do well against.

Over the last two seasons, Indiana has actually won a few games. Teams like Illinois, Iowa, and Purdue have lost to Indiana much like Hornswoggle has beaten guys like Heath Slater. They get wins, but nothing notable. In fact, Indiana hasn’t beaten a top 25 team since 2004

.

Could 2014 be any different for the Hoosiers? If Hornswoggle’s first half of 2014 is any sign the answer is no.

The Hoosiers return two quarterbacks who will give Kevin Wilson a potentially potent offense. As Bill Connelly of SB Nation noted, the Hoosiers also return an explosive running back in Tevin Coleman who averaged 7.3 yards per carry last season and added 12 touchdowns.

Will Indiana break out of irrelevancy in 2014? No, but they’ll make a bit of noise against teams on their level, just like Hornswoggle.
