Wisconsin isThe Big Show

WWE describes him as the “World’s Largest Athlete”. At over seven feet tall and weighing about 500 pounds, the Big Show is a mountain of a man. He’s been around seemingly forever across various promotions, competing for and holding many championships.

Big Show and his Big Ten counterpart have a lot in common.

Perception is reality, and when most of the country thinks of the Big Ten’s physical style of play, they think of the Badgers.

The same can be said when people think of a physical presence in the WWE. Big Show is their guy.

In 2013, the Badgers finished second in rushing yardage in the conference. Over the last three NFL drafts they’ve had three offensive linemen and two running backs taken with a third back, Melvin Gordon, a sure-fire NFL pick for 2015.

Melvin Gordon is arguably the best back in the conference, right there with Nebraska’s Ameer Abdullah. He’ll lead a Wisconsin attack in 2014 that will challenge for another division championship.

Because of sheer force and power, everyone knows to take Wisky and The Giant very seriously.
