3. at Northwestern

Whenever I watch the Wildcats, I’m ready for an upset. That goes for when they play Nebraska, too and rightfully so.

This series is turning into a fun feud with all three Big Ten battles being decided by a total of seven points. The Huskers’ trek to Evanston, IL also impacts their division standing.

The last time Pelini led his team into Pat Fitzgerald’s place, it had to rally and was a missed field goal from back-to-back losses to the Wildcats. Of course, we all remember what happened last year (if you don’t, see above).

Quarterback Trevor Siemien and running back Veneric Marc both return which means Misdirection City. We’ll see how good Randy Gregory’s awareness is in this contest. The Northwestern defense has plenty of experience, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Beck ride the No. 8 train.

Circle the Battle of the NUs again. It never disappoints.
